Location:

Injasuti Wilderness Area, Central Drakensberg.  Because of its valuable Bushman paintings, this cave is not marked on the maps of the area. It is situated up the valley from Dinosaur Cave, in the general vicinity of the Ntabamnyama Hut.  The paintings are very unusual since they appear to be finger prints.

Warning:

It is a serious offence to stay overnight in this cave because of its numerous Bushman paintings.  This is generally the case for any cave containing large numbers of Bushman paintings.

History:

Unknown. "Cow Den" is a very unusual name for a cave!
